Purpose of the Role
As a Patrolperson, you will be responsible for executing routine security procedures to safeguard people, property, and assets at Valterra Platinum’s Amandelbult Complex. Your role also includes emergency prevention, supporting risk management, and promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols and checkpoint duties

Follow standard work and security procedures

Enforce access control measures and support risk management initiatives

Respond appropriately to observed security incidents

Report irregularities and maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members
-
Promote safety and security awareness among colleagues
-
Maintain equipment, uniforms, and facilities to high standards
-
Participate in health, safety, and environmental (SHE) initiatives and team meetings
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
PSIRA Grade C registration
-
Valid driver’s license
-
No criminal record
-
Willingness to undergo polygraph testing and bi-annual reassessments

Firearm training: Use of Shotgun, Handgun, and Rifle (Business Purpose Unit Standards)
