Job Purpose

To ensure the timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and components to support production plans and meet customer demand. This role focuses on managing inventory, engaging suppliers, and balancing cost and service efficiency in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.


Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field

  • Experience:

    • 2–5 years in material planning, inventory management, or supply planning (preferably in manufacturing/FMCG/industrial sectors)

  • Systems & Skills:

    • ERP/MRP experience (Syspro or FlowCentric preferred)

    • Strong analytical and numerical skills

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

    • Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage material replenishment aligned with production and demand forecasts

  • Monitor inventory to prevent overstocking, understocking, or obsolescence

  • Use ERP/MRP systems to create and update replenishment schedules

  • Collaborate with suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve shortages or disruptions

  • Coordinate with sourcing, production, and logistics teams to maintain smooth material flow

  • Analyse supply metrics (e.g., stock-outs, lead times, supplier performance)

  • Identify and manage risks across the supply chain

  • Support and contribute to supply chain efficiency and improvement initiatives
