Job Summary
Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a Financial Administrator to support its Group Finance Operations team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing financial processes, verifying deposits, preparing journal entries, and maintaining reconciliations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Key Responsibilities

Confirm and record direct deposit payments into head office accounts

Maintain accurate deposit records and support retail stores with payment queries

Handle foreign exchange releases and approval processes for large transactions

Clear and process direct deposits, journal entries, and over/under-sale issues

Reconcile balance sheet items and clear outstanding reconciling entries

Respond to internal and external finance-related queries
-
Assist with finance system administration and workflow processes

Contribute to month-end financial close processes and deadlines

Ensure compliance with financial policies and deadlines
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
-
Diploma in Finance, Communications, or related field

At least 1 year of experience in banking or finance administration

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
