About the Role

Join Boxer Superstores at our Lynnfield Distribution Centre as a Customer Service Manager. You will lead store service operations, ensuring timely and accurate communication of store orders, ETA updates, and resolution of delivery issues. You will be the key link between the Distribution Centre and the stores, driving operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (preferred)

  • 3–5 years’ experience in customer service or operations within a warehouse or retail environment

  • Prior management or supervisory experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong communication and coordination skills


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and consolidate electronic store orders and Jabs to align with the transport plan

  • Provide daily updates and resolve delivery queries with Store Managers and Regional teams

  • Approve transport plans and coordinate with transport and floor teams to optimize routes

  • Manage activation and communication of Third-Party Logistics (3PLs) when fleet capacity is exceeded

  • Handle help desk queries within agreed service levels and provide weekly updates on outstanding issues

  • Verify and process transporter invoices, addressing any discrepancies with Finance

  • Coordinate night deliveries in collaboration with stores, transport, and security teams

  • Manage staff attendance, training, discipline, and KPI achievement

  • Conduct store visits to build team awareness and assess service effectiveness

  • Reconcile pallets weekly and manage returns between stores and suppliers
