Western Cape Government is Hiring an Administration Clerk
The Western Cape Government's Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Administration Clerk: Strategic Planning and Coordination.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support for the department's strategic planning and reporting processes while assisting with general office administration, financial administration, and supply chain support.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or an equivalent qualification.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing personnel administration support within the component.
Rendering general clerical and administrative support services.
Assisting with supply chain administration.
Providing financial administration support.
Supporting departmental strategic planning and reporting processes.
Maintaining accurate administrative records and documentation.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Applicants should demonstrate knowledge of:
Clerical administration and office procedures.
Data capturing and record management.
Computer applications and statistical data collection.
Public Service legislation and administrative frameworks.
Government working procedures.
Applicants should also possess the following skills:

Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a salary of R237 453 to R279 708 per annum (Salary Level 5).

Selection Process
