About the Road Accident Fund (RAF)

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is committed to providing timely and equitable support to individuals affected by motor vehicle accidents. Through appropriate social benefits, RAF aims to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals across South Africa.

Purpose of the Internship

The RAF is offering an exciting Internship opportunity within the Office of the RGM for unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 25. This programme is aimed at empowering young graduates with valuable workplace experience and practical exposure within a professional office administration environment.

Work-Based Exposure

Successful candidates may gain experience in the following areas:

• Maintaining and updating document registers
• Stakeholder management and query resolution
• General office administration and filing
• Data capturing related to claims administration
• Diary and schedule management
• Assisting with meetings, appointments, and events
• Drafting and proofreading emails and memos
• Managing incoming calls and correspondence
• Preparing reports, presentations, and meeting agendas
• Maintaining electronic and manual filing systems
• Assisting with travel arrangements
• Taking and distributing meeting minutes
• Supporting small projects and events
• Ordering office supplies and managing inventory

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• NQF Level 6 Diploma in:

  • Office Management/Administration

  • Information and Corporate Management
