JOB PURPOSE
The successful candidate will support the development of consumer, market, and business insights that help shape brand and category decisions. This role provides practical exposure to reporting, research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic corporate environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting and Performance Tracking:
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
• Track market share, brand performance, and innovation performance
• Support performance analysis and reporting processes
Consumer and Market Insights:
• Conduct research on consumer trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics
• Identify patterns, trends, and insight opportunities
• Assist in turning data into practical business recommendations
Stakeholder Support and Communication:
• Prepare reports, summaries, presentations, and stakeholder materials
• Support the development of dashboards, charts, and insight reports
• Communicate findings clearly to different audiences
Research Support:
• Assist with quantitative and qualitative research projects
• Contribute to questionnaire and discussion guide development
• Support supplier coordination and fieldwork activities
Commercial and Brand Exposure:
Gain exposure to how insights contribute to:
• Brand strategy
• Innovation
• Campaign development
• Communication planning
Develop skills in:
• Excel for data management and analysis
• PowerPoint for presentations and storytelling
• Research and analytics platforms
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce (BCom), or Science (BSc)
• Postgraduate qualification will be advantageous
• Must have graduated within the last 12 months
EXPERIENCE
• No formal work experience required
• Vacation work, internships, or part-time roles completed during studies will be advantageous
