Sales Coordinator (External Applications Only) – Seshego

Location: Polokwane, South Africa


Job Description:

Drive sales growth by interacting with customers, costing building plans, issuing accurate quotations, and maintaining high standards in merchandising, housekeeping, and delivery efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience, or 10 years’ work experience

  • Plan reading experience (advantageous)

  • Good command of English and local dominant language

  • Above average numeracy skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Computer literate

  • Strong organizing, planning, and delegation skills


Key Performance Areas:

Sales:

  • Issue and follow up on quotations

  • Manage special order quote process

  • Read building plans and ensure timely, accurate quotes

  • Manage telephone communications and customer follow-ups

  • Conduct competitor analysis

  • Promote loyalty programs

Deliveries:

  • Manage efficient delivery services and correct rate charges

  • Ensure deliveries dispatched on time

  • Communicate and resolve delivery delays

Customer Service:

  • Manage customer service desk effectively

  • Record, follow up, and resolve complaints

  • Ensure prompt telephone response and etiquette

Store Standards:

  • Manage Ready for Business checklists and processes

  • Implement price changes and planograms

People Management:

  • Ensure availability and backup of assistants, sales advisors, and forklift drivers

  • Oversee daily duties execution

Safety (OHSA):

  • Enforce safety standards and protective clothing use

Security Awareness:

  • Be vigilant about suspicious activities

  • Maintain password security
