Job Purpose
Administer and operate the warehouse: process, store, and deliver materials and equipment—including to underground mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
-
Account for all warehouse materials and supplies
-
Receive, store, and issue items according to procedures
-
Conduct cycle counts and full stock takes
-
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
-
Ensure optimal space usage and upkeep of equipment and facilities
-
Perform general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping
-
Comply with safety and environmental (EHS) policies
Candidate Profile
-
Education: Matric (Grade 12) required; a certificate in Logistics or Supply Chain is an advantage
-
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in warehousing, distribution, supply chain, or mining environment

Skills and Requirements:
-
Proficient at intermediate level in Excel
-
Valid driver’s licence
-
Able to work underground independently
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
-
Positive attitude, adaptable, and willing to learn

Problem-solving ability and focus on process improvement

Commitment to client service and operational excellence
