Sales Consultant – Perkins Engines Global Grade 10

Job Type: Full-Time, Sales
Key Responsibilities:

Meet monthly sales targets for New Retail Electrical Power.

Upsell Perkins Electric Power and Industrial engines products/services.

Grow and sustain engine sales in assigned territories.

Manage accounts and territory effectively.
-
Handle tender processes.
-
Generate leads and build strong customer relationships.
-
Identify new business opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline.

Perform sales administrative tasks efficiently.
-
Conduct sales forecasting.
-
Manage the full sales process with ownership.

Have in-depth knowledge of Perkins Electric Power & Industrial product lines, accessories, and work tools.

Use CRM and MS Office tools effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 5 years sales experience in electrical power and/or industrial equipment/engines.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Strong computer literacy including MS Office.
-
Excellent customer relationship skills.
-
Business planning and development expertise.
-
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Good time and self-management skills.
-
Sound technical knowledge of Perkins engines and related accessories.

Financial acumen around costs and trading margins.
-
Extensive experience in a technical sales role focused on electrical power or industrial equipment.
