Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Sales Maximization

Maintain and increase sales performance.

Ensure staff are informed about new stock and can confidently answer product-related questions.

Follow up on all quotations—ensure none remain in the system longer than 7 days.

Promote and sell available stock proactively.
-
Meet or exceed sales targets to support business growth.
Customer Service
-
Exceed customer expectations through excellent service.
-
Deliver the highest quality service at all times.
-
Resolve customer queries promptly.
-
Follow up with customers and log all notes and updates on individual orders.
-
Uphold and model Coricraft’s values and standards of excellence.
Basic Administration
-
Ensure accurate product delivery and smooth order processes.
-
Prevent orders from remaining deposit-free for more than 3 days.

Apply correct payment methods and amounts.

Provide customers with timely feedback.

Support Order Controllers with access to accurate order information.
-
Maintain accurate stock levels and minimize losses.
Showroom Presentation
-
Keep the store clean, tidy, and visually appealing.
-
Maximize the display potential using available stock.
-
Ensure clear price visibility to avoid miscommunication and unnecessary discounts.
-
Prepare the showroom each morning and ensure it is neat for the next day's trade.
Teamwork & Communication

Build and maintain strong partnerships internally and externally.
-
Provide excellent client service and manage expectations.
-
Answer incoming calls and assist walk-in customers.

Follow all company policies and procedures.
Experience and Qualifications
-
Matric (Grade 12)
-
Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience in Furniture, Linen, or Homeware
-
Sales qualification is advantageous
-
Computer literate
-
Experience using Syspro is beneficial
