Purpose of the Role:

To align HR strategy with business goals, supporting leadership with strategic and operational HR initiatives, talent management, organisational design, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives

• Support departmental leaders on people management and compliance

• Lead organisational design and change management efforts

• Manage complex employee relations and engagement issues

• Use data analytics to inform HR decisions and forecast workforce needs

• Promote and uphold De Beers values and safety culture

Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 + Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field

• Experience: 5–7 years in HR, preferably in mining

• License: Valid Code 08/EB driver’s license

• Skills:

  • Strong HR systems knowledge

  • Strategic thinking and leadership

  • Employee relations and conflict resolution

  • Data-driven decision making

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
