Job Overview:

The Order to Cash (O2C) Clerk is responsible for the full cycle of order processing, billing, collections, and customer account management. The role supports healthy cash flow and client satisfaction by ensuring accurate invoicing, effective follow-ups on outstanding payments, and compliance with internal controls.


Key Responsibilities:

Order Management:

  • Verify pricing, discounts, and sales terms

  • Ensure all supporting documentation is uploaded to the ERP system

Invoicing & Billing:

  • Generate and dispatch invoices per agreed customer terms

  • Ensure billing complies with tax regulations and company policy

Accounts Receivable:

  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue invoices

  • Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate aging reports and escalate complex issues

Customer Service:

  • Respond to customer queries regarding invoices, payments, and order status

  • Resolve disputes or escalate to relevant departments

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, including contractual changes

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Generate regular reports on collections, receivables, and order status

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric / High School Diploma (Finance/Accounting/Business certificate or degree preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control

  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Pulse)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting

  • Experience managing Commercial, Listed, and Multinational clients
