Job Purpose:

RCL Foods is seeking a Maintenance Storeman to support its Engineering function by managing stock levels, issuing parts and tools, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient parts store. This role is essential in ensuring timely maintenance operations through accurate record-keeping, stock control, and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily and monthly stock takes
Request quotes and interact with suppliers
Order and manage parts and consumables
Receive and issue stock accurately
Manage job cards and match daily invoices
Issue and reconcile tools and special tools
Assist the buyer with sourcing and ordering parts
Maintain parts store control and housekeeping
Regular filing and record-keeping
Resolve stock and documentation issues proactively

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
Formal qualification in stores/logistics (Advantageous)
Driver’s License and PDP (Advantageous)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a FMCG environment in a similar role

Skills and Attributes:

Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to work under pressure
A self-starter who can work independently
Strong communication skills across all levels
Proficient in problem-solving and maintaining accurate records
