Introduction:

Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) is inviting applications for the role of Human Capital Consultant (Peromnes Grade 8), based at the Aviation Training Academy, reporting to the Human Capital Business Partner. The successful candidate will deliver consistent and professional Human Capital (HC) services across the employee lifecycle for the designated region.


Purpose of the Role:

To provide comprehensive HC support and business partnering services aligned with organisational goals, ensuring effective implementation of policies, processes, and people management practices within the Aviation Training Academy and Regional Airports.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

  • Align HC initiatives with business objectives.

  • Provide solutions for people management challenges.

  • Drive collaboration, performance, and goal achievement through effective HC practices.

  • Contribute to enhancing HC's profile within the organisation.

HC Service Delivery:

  • Deliver comprehensive, compliant HC services in partnership with the HC Business Partner.

  • Implement HC policies and ensure consistent application across the region.

  • Provide daily HC support to employees and line managers.

  • Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and personnel administration.

  • Maintain accurate employee data and support payroll validation.

  • Monitor attendance, absenteeism, grievances, and morale.

  • Support the rollout of retention programs and talent initiatives.

  • Use data and analytics to inform decisions and actions.

  • Facilitate manager and employee education on HC processes.

High Performance Culture:

  • Support performance management processes.

  • Partner with Employee Relations, Wellness, and Transformation functions.

  • Promote a productive and collaborative working environment.

  • Provide coaching to line management on performance and employee relations.

  • Develop initiatives to improve employee motivation and engagement.

Organisational Effectiveness and Change Management:

  • Evaluate and monitor training programs.

  • Support implementation of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

  • Facilitate change management and cultural alignment initiatives.

Stakeholder Relations Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Engage regularly with employees and line management.

  • Support collaboration and effective communication across business units.

Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant HC policies, legislation, and procedures.

  • Report risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain risk logs and ensure no material audit findings.

  • Compile and submit compliance reports as required.


Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Social Sciences, Organisational Psychology, or related field

  • Management or Leadership qualification (advantageous)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR generalist experience

  • Proven track record in business partnering within complex operations environments
