Job Purpose

Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation and serving, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, and support the delivery of excellent customer service in line with company and statutory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing meals, especially salads and desserts
Serve food by placing entrees, salads, and desserts on the serving line
Keep the serving line stocked and clean
Help train new employees where applicable
Store and record food leftovers
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of canteen tables, kitchen, and related areas
Ensure compliance with cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety, and food standards
Maintain high customer service standards
Count and sign over stock between shifts where applicable
Handle customer complaints and compliments professionally
Attend meetings and training as required
Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned

Qualifications
