Purpose of the Role
To support the daily operations of the branch and warehouse by handling stock efficiently and ensuring accurate order processing and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with receiving, quality checking, handling, and packing of stock

Support dispatch operations, ensuring accuracy and quality control

Process internal sales orders (picking slips)

Pull correct items and quantities; sign off on picking slips and stock bin cards
-
Deliver customer stock/orders and paperwork to the dispatch area
-
Perform cable cutting, if required, with accuracy
-
Maintain effective stock control and administration
-
Serve walk-in customers collecting stock/orders

Load and offload stock, placing it in the correct locations
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
-
Adhere strictly to all security and safety regulations

Assist with regular stock takes

Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch or Stores Manager
Minimum Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
-
Minimum 2 years experience in a stores or warehouse environment (Advantageous)

Good product knowledge
-
Understanding of warehouse operations

Familiarity with safety standards and use of protective clothing
