Job Overview:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for meeting used vehicle sales targets by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring all company policies and legal requirements are met.
Employment Equity candidates will be given preference in line with the company’s transformation targets.
Key Responsibilities:

Sell the maximum number of vehicles to meet or exceed targets

Maintain profitability within company expectations
-
Introduce every customer to the Finance & Insurance (F&I) consultant
-
Promote optional accessories and ensure customers are aware of available extras
-
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
-
Follow the full “Road to a Sale” process with every customer
-
Maintain and update the marketing system (Higher Gear)
-
Complete deal files accurately and in compliance with company policy
-
Ensure all CPA (Consumer Protection Act) documentation is legally compliant
-
Organize and staff displays and promotional events
-
Be fully informed on current company promotions and specials
-
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly prospecting and online lead targets (Fuel-Online)

Maintain product knowledge across all vehicle models and offerings
-
Adhere to discounting, invoicing, and delivery policies
-
Keep demo vehicles clean and presentable
-
Ensure vehicles are delivered free of defects and only once fully paid
-
Introduce customers to key dealership contacts (e.g., Service Manager) upon delivery
-
Verify that costing aligns with profit reports
-
Ensure all external work is authorized in writing—unauthorized expenses may be for your account

Comply with reasonable instructions from management
Minimum Requirements:

Matric or equivalent qualification
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the motor industry
-
2–3 years’ experience in vehicle sales
-
Proven track record in achieving sales targets
