Key Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out of the hotel

  • Maintain guest accounts and process transactions during their stay

  • Manage guest special requests and needs promptly and professionally

  • Assist with reservations as required


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric qualification

  • Hospitality qualification or similar

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience as a receptionist

  • Strong computer literacy including MS Office and a reputable Property Management System (PMS), preferably Protel

  • Calm and hands-on problem-solving skills, able to manage incidents confidently

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Honest, trustworthy, detail-oriented, presentable, and well-spoken

  • Team player and leader by example

  • Ability to work shifts

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information diplomatically


Additional Information

  • Relocation costs are the responsibility of the successful candidate if relocating from outside Umhlanga.
