Purpose of the Role
The Picker Packer is responsible for accurately picking stock, assembling customer orders based on invoices, and preparing items for dispatch according to company standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Pick products as per customer orders and transfer them to the designated holding area

Ensure accuracy by checking seed reference numbers and report discrepancies

Notify the Stock Controller about out-of-stock items and await instructions

Maintain quality by ensuring items are clean, properly labeled, and saleable

Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) stock rotation procedures

Assist team members with tasks once own duties are completed

Keep work areas clean, organized, and secure

Adhere to safety and security protocols to protect stock and facilities
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
-
Warehousing Diploma or Certificate – advantageous
-
At least 2 years of experience as a General Worker – preferred
