Purpose of the Role

To ensure that independent contractor drivers meet Takealot’s compliance and verification standards through document audits, system updates, and effective communication with internal teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and update driver profiles in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Conduct audits of all driver compliance documents (e.g., licenses, IDs, e-learning certificates)
Maintain and update the Driver Verification Control Spreadsheet (Excel)
Respond to driver transfer requests from the Driver Transfer Mailbox
Deactivate drivers with expired documentation and e-learning status
Communicate with hubs weekly regarding drivers with expired documentation
Compile and share monthly verification reports with stakeholders (Franchisees, FMs, Recruiters)
Handle verification tickets via Zendesk
Submit daily reports on verification status and document cleanup
Attend team meetings and actively contribute to ongoing process improvement

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Education: Matric (Grade 12)
Experience:
- 1–2 years in audit, compliance, or document management
- Experience with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) processes is advantageous
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Excel, Google Workspace, and PowerPoint
- Zendesk knowledge is a plus
- Comfortable working with large datasets and spreadsheets
- Computer literate and tech-savvy
