Job Purpose

To grow, retain, and maintain customer accounts effectively and profitably by cross-selling and upselling products while delivering a seamless and low-effort customer experience in line with PG Glass standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales volume by identifying and developing new business opportunities

  • Grow and retain local accounts, with an emphasis on joint marketing and regional canvassing

  • Build strong relationships with local brokers and depots, supporting national deals at regional level

  • Ensure pricing accuracy and alignment through regular audits and updates

  • Collect and communicate market intelligence and potential leads to national sales teams

  • Promote brand visibility by supplying marketing material to local customers and attending industry events

  • Handle account queries and overdue balances while expanding product offerings in Fitment Centres

  • Ensure local deal implementation and maintain accurate records for audit purposes

  • Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with PG’s low-effort experience standards


Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience with a focus on cold calling

  • Industry experience in FMCG or Retail is highly advantageous

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication (written and verbal)

  • Conflict resolution and time management

  • Strong selling and presentation skills

  • Numerical accuracy and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in computer systems and CRM tools

  • Ability to plan, organise, and manage multiple accounts
