Purpose of the Role

To lead and implement key strategic initiatives across Hollard Insure by managing projects focused on process improvement, business optimisation, and delivering measurable value. This includes applying methodologies such as Lean, Root Cause Problem Solving, Management System Design, and Target Operating Model Design.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the full lifecycle of CI projects from concept to benefit realisation

  • Build, present, and deliver business cases with measurable outcomes

  • Apply standardised CI project and optimisation frameworks

  • Lead change management processes and team collaboration

  • Introduce and test new technologies (AI, RPA, ML) where aligned with optimisation goals

  • Engage with executives and business units to support strategic initiatives

  • Produce high-quality reports and outputs consistently


Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Extensive experience in project management and consulting (Big 4 background preferred)

  • Proven track record with Lean process optimisation and strategic transformation

  • Familiarity with short-term insurance or financial services (advantageous)

  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and analytical skills


Qualifications

  • Minimum: Engineering or Honours degree

  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, SAFE Certification
