Job Purpose

To provide front-line administrative and reception support to the Security Department, ensuring professional handling of visitors, order documentation, access control, and record keeping within the Agrigrain system.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / National Senior Certificate (essential)

  • 2+ years’ experience in:

    • Customer or visitor-facing roles

    • Order administration or general admin

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to communicate in at least two languages

  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist drivers, clients, and visitors professionally

  • Process daily access permissions and issue visitor documents accurately

  • Administer and maintain access records in the Agrigrain system

  • Manage incoming calls, parcel control, and donations

  • Handle order processing, including identifying and reporting variances

  • Provide outstanding customer service at the front desk

  • Support site security by monitoring the visitor entrance

  • Take initiative in problem situations and escalate to relevant staff

  • Ensure all documentation and filing is accurate and up to date
