Job Description:
As a Warranty Clerk, your primary role is to manage the accurate and timely submission of warranty claims in line with company and Hyundai Automotive SA (HASA) policies. You will ensure customers receive professional, trustworthy service that supports brand confidence.
Key Responsibilities:

Validate vehicle information on all documentation.

Review job cards (car shop, paint, panel) before costing.

Ensure damage codes and part numbers are accurate.

Manage all warranty claims and follow up on queries.

Tag, store, and dispatch warranty parts according to policy.

Communicate with HASA on all warranty matters.

Track back-ordered parts and ensure customer follow-up.

Verify vehicle warranty eligibility (mileage, history, diagnosis).

Ensure necessary authorisations are obtained for repairs.

Process all claims within 7 days of job completion.

File all warranty documents by chassis number.

Maintain cleanliness and security of warranty parts area.

Follow part destruction and inspection procedures.

Prepare manual reports for parts older than 30 days.

Fulfill other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Requirements:

Education: Matric (Grade 12)

Experience: 2+ years in a warranty clerk or similar role
