Job Purpose

To lead and manage the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, ensuring full integration of demand and supply planning to support business strategy, customer satisfaction, and performance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end global S&OP process

• Integrate and align demand and supply planning activities

• Collect, prepare, and present demand data from clusters for S&OP review

• Chair and facilitate monthly S&OP meetings

• Ensure optimal customer service levels and adherence to working capital guidelines

• Monitor and report on forecasting accuracy and supply planning performance

• Resolve supply gaps, overlaps, and escalate issues when needed

• Report on service KPIs such as:

  • Forecast accuracy (e.g., demand vs. actual sales)

  • Inventory turnover and days of inventory

  • On-time production and delivery

  • Order fulfillment and customer satisfaction

• Drive process efficiency improvements in the S&OP cycle

• Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration

• Sign off all demand and supply forecasts for the next financial year

• Accountable for identifying and managing all S&OP-related risks

• Support senior management with data and strategic insights

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric / Grade 12

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• 3–5 years’ experience in a costing or supply chain planning environment

• Strong working knowledge of:

• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• SAP
