Purpose of the Role:

To achieve monthly new vehicle sales targets by delivering outstanding customer service, building lasting relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets

  • Develop and grow the customer base

  • Manage customer expectations and follow up on escalations

  • Prospect for new clients and revenue streams (cold calling)

  • Accurately evaluate trade-in vehicles

  • Negotiate terms and close sales

  • Maintain deep product and market knowledge


Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • 3 years+ of sales experience (preferably in vehicles)

  • Code 8 Driver’s Licence (essential)

  • Computer literacy

  • Proven sales track record (meeting monthly targets)


Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong customer service and sales abilities

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Fluent in local languages (advantageous)

  • Well-groomed and professional

  • Strong administrative and time management skills

  • Knowledge of:

    • Motor industry trends

    • Dealership policies

    • CRM systems like Higher Gear

    • Vehicle evaluation and compliance regulations

    • Corporate branding and product image
