Purpose of the Job
To operate, monitor, and maintain reagent plant systems within defined battery limits, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and promptly report any deviations that may affect reagent performance or plant operations.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct reagent quality control
-
Perform reagent flowrate measurements
-
Offload reagents and manage handling procedures

Conduct regular sampling
-
Carry out stock taking and data capturing

Operate and oversee reagent equipment
-
Perform daily safety inspections and address non-compliance issues
-
Report deviations from reagent parameters to supervisors or vendor manager
-
Maintain high housekeeping standards in the work area
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science or NQF Level 4 in Chemical Operations

Computer literate
-
Willingness to relocate as per business needs

Must reside in or near the mining area

Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering

Prior experience working in a Flotation plant
