Job Summary

Pedros is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Admin Clerk to support our logistics and operations team. The ideal candidate will help coordinate shipment schedules, process documentation, manage inventory records, and ensure smooth logistical operations in line with company procedures.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 / Matric (Required)

  • Further qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Administration (Advantageous)

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a similar logistics/admin role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience using logistics systems

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Good communication and time management abilities

Key Performance Areas

  • Maintain and capture dispatch plans and delivery schedules

  • Track shipments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery

  • Liaise with drivers, dispatchers, and suppliers regarding transport updates

  • Issue trip sheets/job cards and assist in transport bookings

  • Prepare and file delivery notes, invoices, and shipping documentation

  • Ensure accuracy and proper sign-off of all paperwork

  • Maintain records of vehicle movement, stock transfers, and Proof of Delivery (POD)

  • Compile logistics reports (daily, weekly, and monthly)

  • Assist with stock checks, material receipts, and basic reconciliations

  • Report inventory discrepancies to management

  • Handle calls and emails related to collections and deliveries

  • Support the logistics supervisor with general admin and clerical tasks

  • Maintain updated contact lists for drivers, suppliers, and clients
