Purpose of the Role
To accurately capture maintenance-related data into the relevant Planned Maintenance System (e.g., CMMS), ensuring effective maintenance tracking, planning, and reporting. The role also includes support for administrative tasks related to engineering processes and plant optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Capture

Accurately enter job card data from Engineering Planner and artisans

Generate reports on maintenance metrics

Minimize backlog and ensure data accuracy
Maintenance Planning Support
-
Help prioritize maintenance tasks
-
Generate and distribute job cards and maintenance schedules
-
Capture and close out completed maintenance activities
Downtime & Performance Tracking
-
Produce and display KPIs for engineering and artisan performance
-
Analyze downtime trends for continuous improvement
Team Collaboration
-
Maintain clear communication with team and other departments
-
Support VPO (Voyager Plant Optimization) initiatives
Visual Management & Organization
-
Keep all displayed data up to date

Apply 5S principles for a clean, organized workspace
Reporting & Documentation

Compile and distribute reports from CMMS

Maintain accurate and validated records

Ensure documentation supports business reporting needs
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric certificate
-
1+ year experience in data capturing or administrative environment
-
3–6 months on-the-job training
-
Proficiency in MS Office; CMMS experience is an advantage
