Job Description
FlySafair is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to handle inventory movement, ensure stock is processed and stored accurately, and support inventory control processes within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials across the warehouse

• Process items for delivery

• Sort, organize, and store inventory in correct locations

• Package and label items properly

• Report any damaged or missing inventory

• Stack and organize bulk stock

• Update inventory logs and records

• Conduct routine warehouse cleaning

• Monitor and control inventory

• Maintain quality standards for audits

• Handle delicate and sensitive items with care

• Operate tools and follow SOPs

• Perform cycle counts and assist the Inventory Clerk with discrepancies

• Comply with procedures and quality service standards

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)

• Warehouse Training certification (Advantageous)

• Dangerous goods and aircraft spares packing (Advantageous)

• 1–2 years administrative experience in a mid-size organization (Essential)

• Willingness to work overtime and 24-hour shifts (Essential)

• Knowledge of warehousing standards

• Knowledge of ERP systems (Advantageous)

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong multitasking abilities
