The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing and recording stock items in the engineering store, ensuring accurate stock management and efficient store operations. Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric

At least 2 years' experience in the FMCG environment

Previous experience as a storeman (SAP experience advantageous)

Strong administrative and organizational skills

Proficiency in Excel, Email, and MS Teams
Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain optimal stock levels for continuous production
-
Follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method for stock rotation

Receive and verify goods against orders, invoices, and delivery notes
-
Record delivery dates and times; sign relevant paperwork
-
Log short or excess deliveries and returns appropriately

Receipt goods on SAP and manage stock allocation to bins

Perform daily spot checks and monthly stock takes

Investigate and report missing stock

Attend daily engineering meetings to report store issues

Request supplier quotes and manage workflows

Communicate arrival of non-stock items to the team

Follow up on outstanding supplier orders weekly

Maintain store cleanliness and organization

Ensure availability of lubricants, gas, oil, and chemicals with MSDS file

Identify new stock items and request material codes from Master Data
