Job Purpose
To operate the switchboard, attend to front desk visitors, and provide administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage general administration for the site
-
Operate the switchboard and ensure professional internal/external relations
-
Screen and direct calls appropriately; do not give out Directors’ cell numbers
-
Welcome visitors while observing security procedures
-
Accurately record and deliver messages
-
Handle long-distance and international call requests from management
-
Support with telephone issues and new lines
-
Sort and distribute internal and external mail
-
Maintain meeting rooms and ensure they are well-equipped
-
Order boardroom supplies and stationery when needed
-
Create purchase orders for the site
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric)
-
A receptionist or similar qualification
-
At least 3 years of relevant experience
-
Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook
-
SAP knowledge will be an advantage

Ability to manage VIP protocols and customer complaints
