About the Role

TsAfrika is looking for a dedicated Cook – Corporate to join its team in Woodstock. The cook will be responsible for ingredient preparation, food production, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting kitchen operations.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present food according to TsAfrika’s quality and hygiene standards.

  • Operate as part of a team with good interpersonal skills.

  • Ensure correct portion control is maintained.

  • Deliver food promptly and ensure the mise en place is always ready.

  • Assist with menu planning and stock control.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

  • Be flexible to work overtime when required.

  • Keep up with current food trends and best kitchen practices.


Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric

  • Experience:

    • 1–2 years in a similar cooking role

    • Proven experience in food preparation

  • Advantage: Culinary qualification

  • Skills:

    • Good communication (verbal and written)

    • Strong food preparation skills

    • Organizational and planning skills

    • Computer literate

    • Excellent teamwork and customer service abilities
