Job Purpose

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering Warehouse Learnerships in the Logistics department. This opportunity is designed for unemployed youth to complete the National Certificate in Freight Handling (NQF Level 3) while gaining practical and theoretical experience in warehouse operations.

Successful candidates will report to the Training Controller or Team Leader: Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Learners will be exposed to the following:

Practical and theoretical grounding in freight handling
Reading, writing, and communication in the warehouse environment
Working with number systems and stock management
Receiving and safely delivering stock
Administrative duties related to stock receipt and delivery
Picking and packing stock
Understanding the financial impact of stock on the business
Managing stock flow in the warehouse
Recording stock movement on warehouse systems
Applying Occupational Health and Safety legislation
Maintaining high housekeeping and customer service standards
Understanding logistics business principles

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Math Literacy (minimum 40%)
Two South African languages passed with at least 40%
Must be unemployed
Must not have previously completed the same learnership or qualification
Must be a South African citizen
Must be an Employment Equity candidate
Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
Diploma in Logistics or Operations Management is advantageous
