Role Purpose

To perform quality, timely planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance on all specified electrical and associated equipment, supporting the company’s maintenance strategy and ensuring high service standards for the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Report for on-site maintenance and complete job cards as required

• Deliver both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, including minor building works

• Coordinate with the business control centre on alarm activations during maintenance

• Execute tasks as per job card requirements and maintenance schedules

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, job plans, and SLAs

• Identify, evaluate, and report hazards or issues with client equipment

• Maintain high quality of work and meet all field service deadlines

• Provide regular feedback to the Supervisor and Client on progress and service restoration

Qualifications & Skills

• N3 – N6 in Electrical Engineering

• Electrical Trade Test (Red Seal)

• Matric / Senior Certificate

• Valid South African Driver’s License

• Wireman’s License (3-Phase) – Essential

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance

• Working knowledge of air breakers and PLCs

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook (Intermediate level)

• Experience using SAP systems

• Sound knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act
