Job Overview

CETA is seeking a Finance Administrator to provide administrative and financial support to the Financial Accounting unit, ensuring efficient office operations and contributing to the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, including handling calls, correspondence, and scheduling.
  • Assist the Finance Officer and Financial Accountant in prioritizing tasks and meetings.
  • Maintain the unit’s annual meeting planner and coordinate logistics.
  • Attend key meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, documents, and business presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records of office supplies and assist with procurement.
  • Capture and verify financial data, ensuring data integrity.
  • Assist with invoice coordination, payroll payment administration, and financial reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, Acts, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Monitor risk management processes and fraud prevention measures.
  • Provide stakeholder support and respond to queries effectively.
  • Assist in mentoring and supervising finance interns.
  • Ensure financial sustainability by avoiding wasteful and fruitless expenditure.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification: Diploma in Finance or Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting
  • Experience: 2–3 years in finance administration or a related field
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Eligible for professional registration (SAIPA, SAIBA, SAICA, AT(SA))
