Job Overview
CETA is seeking a Finance Administrator to provide administrative and financial support to the Financial Accounting unit, ensuring efficient office operations and contributing to the organization’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including handling calls, correspondence, and scheduling.
- Assist the Finance Officer and Financial Accountant in prioritizing tasks and meetings.
- Maintain the unit’s annual meeting planner and coordinate logistics.
- Attend key meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, documents, and business presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of office supplies and assist with procurement.
- Capture and verify financial data, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist with invoice coordination, payroll payment administration, and financial reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with policies, Acts, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Monitor risk management processes and fraud prevention measures.
- Provide stakeholder support and respond to queries effectively.
- Assist in mentoring and supervising finance interns.
- Ensure financial sustainability by avoiding wasteful and fruitless expenditure.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma in Finance or Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting
- Experience: 2–3 years in finance administration or a related field
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligible for professional registration (SAIPA, SAIBA, SAICA, AT(SA))
