Job Title: Store Manager (45hr) - Sportscene
Location: Uitenhage, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Job Description
The Store Manager will lead and drive the team to achieve turnover targets, manage expenses, minimize stock losses, and deliver excellent customer satisfaction. This role involves people management, in-store merchandising, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Turnover Management: Achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Expense Control: Monitor and manage operational costs.
- Stock Loss Management: Ensure shrinkage remains within company standards.
- People Management: Recruit, train, develop, and manage store staff; address employee relations and performance.
- Merchandising Strategy: Execute in-store merchandising plans and maintain company standards.
- Customer Satisfaction: Implement and oversee customer service strategies to meet customer demands.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Matric certificate.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
