Role Overview

The Senior Administrator: 37C Death Claims is a key role within the Client Services team. The purpose of the role is to provide accurate and timely administrative support to ensure the delivery of professional client services, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and compliance requirements.


Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric or Grade 12 equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Employee Benefits with specific Section 37C experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Internal Processes

  • Manage and resolve client service requests effectively.
  • Accurately capture and maintain data in line with SLAs.
  • Provide requested information and documentation, adhering to guidelines.
  • File and organize documentation for easy access.
  • Complete administrative and reporting tasks within set timeframes.
  • Adhere to legislative and compliance standards.
  • Identify and report system or process failures for continuous improvement.

Client Services

  • Act as an authoritative resource for clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Meet and exceed SLAs to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve client service and fairness.
  • Foster a service-oriented culture emphasizing client feedback and exceptional service.

People and Teamwork

  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to achieve team objectives.
  • Support and contribute to change initiatives.
  • Develop expertise in industry practices, regulations, and legislation.
  • Share innovative ideas to improve workflows and service delivery.
  • Proactively manage personal career development.

Financial and Compliance Management

  • Contribute to financial planning and efficiency within the department.
  • Monitor resource utilization and manage them responsibly.
  • Support risk identification and propose recommendations to mitigate risks.
