Position Overview
An experienced General Worker - Cleaner is needed to maintain cleanliness and ensure walkways and premises remain clear and safe.
Minimum Requirements
- Medically fit for physical tasks.
- Reliable with a clean criminal record.
- Prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must have reliable transport.
- Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper storage/disposal.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Organizational skills and self-motivation to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Grade 12/Matric/NQF Level 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
- Clean office spaces, including emptying trash cans and servicing restrooms.
- Keep outside walkways clear of debris.
- Report repair needs to building management.
- Assist office staff with tea-making tasks.
- Perform general cleaning of the premises.
- Maintain a tidy and hygienic environment.
- Carry out reasonable instructions from the Supervisor.
