Overview

Job Purpose
To ensure all inbound stock management checks are conducted in the warehouse per company policies. Verify picked and palletized stock accurately before dispatch and loading.
Key Responsibilities
GRV Administration:
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and standards for administrative processes.
- Accurately match GRVs to delivery notes and input into SAP.
- Process and capture transactions in SAP.
- Address customer queries promptly.
- Handle short-supplied and over-supplied stock.
- Ensure all goods entering the company are GRVed.
Billing Administration:
- Accurately capture loading documents.
- Conduct systematic picking of stock according to FEFO.
- Perform blind checks and ensure balances align with picking requirements.
- Manage invoicing, including printing, reprints, and filing.
Housekeeping:
- Maintain cleanliness inside the cold room.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of products.
- Remove waste and maintain a tidy workspace.
Cold Chain/Temperature Checks:
- Conduct daily temperature checks and maintain records.
- Ensure compliance with SOP for frozen products.
Stock Control:
- Handle and store products securely and minimize damage.
- Conduct spot checks on dispatching and loading.
- Prepare the warehouse for stock counts and assist with daily stock counts.
Loading Rate Monitoring:
- Track loading rate for speed and accuracy.
- Record performance metrics.
Occupational Health and Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and ISO requirements.
Teamwork and Self-Management:
- Take ownership of tasks and demonstrate self-management.
- Support team targets and objectives.
KPIs
- Accurate performance metrics for the warehouse.
- Proper palletized and loaded stock.
- High customer satisfaction.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Efficient loading and offloading processes.
Key Relationships
Internal:
- Site management.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric.
- Minimum of 1 year in warehousing or similar functional experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge:
- Warehouse stock handling and methodologies.
- SAP knowledge.
- Skills:
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Verbal and written communication.
- Numerical aptitude.
- Attributes:
- Initiative.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a cold environment.
- Deadline-oriented and capable of prioritizing tasks.
