Job Title: Storeman - Packaging and Ingredients
Location: Worcester

Role Purpose
The Storeman is responsible for issuing and recording stock items in the Packaging and Ingredients store, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to inventory standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in a similar environment
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong sense of order and accuracy
- Ability to take initiative
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Multi-skilled and adaptable
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong reading, listening, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly, professional service at the issue and receiving counter.
- Authorization Check: Verify SSR (Stock Store Requisition) signatures for proper authorization.
- Daily Capturing: Record SSRs and invoices daily.
- Loading & Off-loading: Assist with the movement of stock and non-stock items.
- Inventory Accuracy: Check daily SSRs against Inventory Journal printouts for consistency.
- Stock Counts: Participate in quarterly stock counts.
- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store.
- Returns & Repairs: Complete GRA (Goods Return Advice) for returned and repaired items.
- Stock Organization: Ensure items are properly binned daily.
- Compliance: Follow SHERQ procedures and uphold Rainbow's ethical standards.
- Reporting: Accurately capture and share data to support management decision-making.
- Ownership & Accountability: Take responsibility for tasks, prioritize effectively, and consistently maintain quality and productivity standards.
