Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Job Description:

This position involves managing meeting rooms, training rooms, canteens, kitchens, bars, and coffee stations at JB1. The primary responsibilities include ensuring all areas are well-maintained, greeting visitors, and assisting with meeting preparation and client satisfaction.

Main Functions:

  • Manage and maintain meeting rooms, training rooms, and other facilities.
  • Welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of refreshments for meetings.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are tidy and well-organized at all times.
  • Log and ensure maintenance is carried out as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment in the meeting rooms is in working order and assist guests and staff with operation.
  • Maintain sufficient stock levels of consumables and refreshments.
  • Provide reception/switchboard assistance when needed.
  • Handle queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to staff and visitors as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth security processes and log access for important clients.
  • Welcome guests and answer reception phones promptly.
  • Direct calls and take messages, ensuring they are delivered to the appropriate staff in a timely manner.
  • Assist with tasks such as couriering items.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
  • People Skills: A flair for dealing with people, professional, and punctual.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive in addressing issues and finding solutions.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Telephone Etiquette: Excellent telephone manner with switchboard experience.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Matric Certificate (Grade 12).
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in English.
