Job Description:

We are seeking a customer-focused individual to join our Stop Orders team. Reporting to the Head Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments received from institutions, in line with schedules provided. You will also maintain Avbob’s books and ensure that policies are correctly managed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately file all policy applications.
  • Reconcile monthly premiums received from institutions.
  • Process daily correspondence and discrepancy reports.
  • Update policy details and ensure correspondence is directed to the correct work desk.
  • Check and update schedules for consistency and accuracy.
  • Handle telephonic queries.
  • Provide statistics and support to the senior clerk.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 certificate.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
  • Skills:
    • Computer literacy (MS Office).
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy, especially with reconciliations.

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
