Introduction
The Portfolio Administrator will provide administrative support to the GGI UMA Binder, UMA Broker Binder, and Outsource team. This role ensures ongoing assistance and alignment with GGI Scorecard, regulatory requirements, and the services offered to clients.

Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to offer comprehensive administrative support to the GGI UMA Binder and UMA Broker Binder teams, ensuring that tasks align with the GGI Scorecard, meet regulatory standards, and enhance client service.
Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Matric Certificate
- Tertiary education is advantageous
- Experience:
- At least 4 years of experience in the short-term insurance industry
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- General understanding of monthly financial results, bordereaux’s, loss ratios, and regulatory requirements
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding intermediaries for GGI.
- Maintain and update online filing systems with intermediary information using Mfiles and Neo platforms.
- Schedule meetings and appointments; record minutes and notes for UMA and NMI meetings.
- Facilitate communication and resolve queries between internal departments.
- Assist with maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for UMA, broker binders, and outsource departments.
- Support the Premium Collection Framework in GGI.
- Manage and maintain Teams sites and folders for UMA’s, Broker Binders, Outsource, Administrators, and other internal divisions.
- Provide feedback on outstanding client review items and issue-tracker follow-ups.
- Track and follow up on outstanding bordereaux submissions.
- Ensure compliance updates on legal documents (intermediaries, binders, addendums, float agreements).
- Provide market conduct feedback for POPIA, TCF, CBR, PPR, and complaints registers.
- Arrange travel requirements for the GGI team.
- Assist with capturing salvage information on the salvage provider systems for broker binders.
- Offer general support on internal projects, including training and Business Intelligence (BI) integration.
