Job Overview:
Rosebank College, a leading private higher education institution registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training, is looking for an enthusiastic Call Centre Operator. The successful candidate will focus on student recruitment by implementing effective relationship management and brand promotion strategies.
Job Purpose:
To recruit new students using the Rosebank College methodology, engage with stakeholders, and raise awareness about the college’s offerings.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Cold Calling:
- Contact existing students for referrals.
- Reach out to parents of current students to discuss potential sibling enrolments.
- Re-engage in-active students from the database.
- Market the Rosebank College brand to prospective students.
Telephonic Consultations:
- Make initial contact with potential students.
- Introduce the Rosebank College brand and invite candidates for telephonic interviews.
- Conduct detailed telephonic consultations to discuss career options and course details.
- Capture student information accurately in the database.
- Respond to queries and provide information about the courses.
- Build rapport with students throughout the interview process.
- Inform students of application deadlines.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Matric (NQF Level 4 Qualification).
- A sales qualification is advantageous.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of sales experience.

- Time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation.
- Adaptability and ability to cope with change.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
