Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Mr Price Group in Durban. The successful candidate will handle customer inquiries, process store card applications, and verify employment details efficiently to provide top-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to customer queries and correspondence to prevent backlogs and reduce complaints.
- Update customer details accurately on the Debtors' systems.
- Employment Verification:
- Verify employment and personal information provided on store application forms via telephone.
- Card Application Processing:
- Process store card applications across various divisions to expand the customer and credit base (outbound agents only).
- Data Management:
- Maintain an up-to-date customer information database.

Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year call centre experience (preferably in new accounts).
- Experience in account application processing is advantageous.
Skills and Knowledge
- Legislative Knowledge:
- Understanding of the Consumer Protection Act, POPI Act, National Credit Act, and ICASA regulations.
- Communication Skills:
- Clear verbal communication to assist customers with account setup and inquiries.
