Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the Cummins Diesel Fitter qualification, becoming a fully qualified technician
- Diagnose and resolve technical engine problems
- Participate actively in the Apprentice Program to develop your career
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble engines
- Maintain and repair mechanical products efficiently
- Comply with industry standards and ensure safe work procedures are adhered to
Key Requirements:
- Strong Mechanical Knowledge: Ability to understand Cummins standards and apply mechanical principles
- Proficiency in Product Repair and Maintenance: Able to disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble engines
- Valid Driver’s License
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (NSC) with subjects in Engineering Drawing, Engineering Science, Mathematics, and Diesel or Motor Trade Theory
OR - NCV Level 4 qualification with a focus on Engineering Process, Professional Engineering Practical, Applied Engineering Technology, Automotive Repair & Maintenance, and Mathematics
