About the YES Learnership Programme
Maersk is inviting applications from motivated and ambitious young South Africans to join its YES (Youth Employment Service) Learnership Programme for the 2026/2027 intake.
This 12-month programme provides successful candidates with valuable workplace exposure and practical experience within a world-class logistics and supply chain environment. Learners will gain industry-relevant skills while developing a customer-focused and operational mindset that will support future career growth.
Key Responsibilities
Successful learners will:
Provide administrative and operational support across various business functions.
Assist teams with day-to-day business activities.
Gain practical workplace experience within a professional environment.
Participate in training and development activities.
Support business operations while developing workplace competencies.
Contribute positively to team goals and customer service objectives.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and workplace standards.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the programme, applicants must:
Be a South African citizen.
Have completed Grade 12 / Matric.
Be between 18 and 30 years old.
Not be permanently employed.
Have no more than 2 years of work experience.
Be available to commit to the full 12-month programme.
Not have participated in or completed a YES Learnership previously.
Have a strong academic record.
Possess good computer literacy skills.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advantageous
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Previous exposure to logistics, administration, customer service, or supply chain environments.
