Role Purpose:
To deliver excellent customer service by accurately processing transactions, maintaining cleanliness at the point of sale, restocking items, and assisting in general food service duties.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and put service first

Handle customer queries and complaints professionally

Ensure tills are clean, functional, and properly stocked with change, paper, and ribbon

Accurately count floats and perform daily cash-ups with relevant admin staff

Maintain neat and fully stocked displays, shelves, and fridges
-
Issue correct receipts and give the appropriate change
-
Report and account for any cash discrepancies
-
Support front-of-house and back-of-house operations
-
Assist with cleaning and general duties when quiet

Prepare daily sales analysis

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 / Matric (essential)

3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar cashiering role
